From June 16 to 18, 2026, the 26th International Exhibition on Pharmaceutical Ingredients China (CPHI China 2026) was held at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre. As an annual event for the entire pharmaceutical industry chain, CPHI brought together pharmaceutical companies, R&D institutions, and analytical testing professionals from around the world. Elite Technology showcased its full range of products, including high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC), preparative/semi-preparative chromatography systems, and novel chromatography columns. The booth attracted a large number of domestic and international visitors, making Elite Technology one of the most watched analytical instrument exhibitors at the show.

Comprehensive HPLC Product Portfolio Covering the Entire Pharmaceutical Analysis Chain

In the field of HPLC, Elite presented the EClassical 3200L UHPLC system. With a maximum pressure resistance of 130 MPa, arapid injectionmode that completes injection within one second, and EMC electromagnetic compatibility design, this system is well-suited for demanding applications such as drug R&D, quality control release testing, and biological sample analysis.

Complementing the HPLC system, Elite also exhibited a wide range of liquid chromatography detectors, highlighting the company’s comprehensive detector portfolio:

UV/Vis Detector: Standard dual-wavelength detection with a temperature-controllable flow cell (ambient +5 to 55 °C), making it a versatile choice for drug content determination.

Diode Array Detector (DAD): Full-wavelength scanning, peak purity assessment, and spectral library search capabilities, ideal for impurity profiling of complex drugs.

Fluorescence Detector (FL): High-sensitivity trace analysis, suitable for detecting drug metabolites with fluorescent properties.

Refractive Index Detector (RI): Suitable for non-UV-absorbing substances such as excipients, polymers, and carbohydrates.

Evaporative Light Scattering Detector (ELSD): A universal detector suitable for non-UV-absorbing samples that require gradient elution, such as lipids and surfactants.

Laser Scattering Detector (LSD): A universal detector capable of detecting large molecules, polymers, and nanoparticles that lack UV absorption.

Many visitors from QC laboratories of pharmaceutical companies stopped by the booth to learn about the application scenarios of each detector. They highly appreciated Elite’s ability to offer such a diverse detector range, commenting thatit is rare for a domestic manufacturer to have such a complete detector portfolio, which means we can get everything we need from one source.

Preparative/Semi-Preparative Chromatography Systems: Full Coverage from Laboratory R&D to Industrial Purification

In the field of preparative purification, Elite presented a complete product line covering different scales, which attracted great interest from professional visitors on site.

EClassical 3500/3700 Semi-Preparative LC Systems, with a wide flow range of 0.01–100.00mL/min and a high-flow solvent replacement function (60mL/min), are suitable for purification of synthetic raw materials, preparation of reference standards, and isolation of natural products. They are an ideal choice for TCM R&D and laboratory-scale purification.

S3320 Preparative Autosampler & Fraction Collector, integrating auto-sampling and fraction collection, supports a maximum injection volume of 25 mL and a maximum fraction collection rate of 200mL/min. It offers multiple collection modes (timebased, threshold-based, peak-based) and is compatible with a variety of sample racks (96-well, 75-well, 70-well, 30-well, 12-well, 3-well, etc.). This attracted many R&D personnel working on protein purification and peptide preparation.

F3310 Fraction Collector features a high-precision robotic arm and belt drive, with a position accuracy of 0.1 mm. Combined with software-configurable delay volume, it enables precise collection. The blue LED light strip provides an intuitive indication of operational status, and the intelligent leak alarm ensures equipment safety.

Preparative Columns on display included high-pressure spring columns, protein axial compression columns (jacketed), medium-pressure axial compression columns, and medium-pressure glass columns. Among them, the high‑pressure spring columns use continuous axial compression to prevent bed collapse, significantly extending the service life of preparative columns and solving the common problem of efficiency loss that traditionally requires returning the column to the factory for repacking. The jacketed protein axial compression columns incorporate PEEK critical components for excellent biocompatibility, making them suitable for purification of sensitive biological samples, and can maintain a constant operating temperature to protect sample activity.

Elite Purif RP2 Integrated Preparative Purification System is specially designed for the purification and preparation of high-value products. It supports three modes: medium-pressure preparation, high-pressure preparation, and cyclic preparation, integrating the pump, software, and fraction collector. Its automatic collection parameter setting function based on TLC data greatly simplifies method development, drawing many visitors engaged in the purification of active ingredients from natural products.

Supersil Premium Columns: A New Generation of High-Efficiency Columns Powered by Microfluidic Technology

In the column display area, Elite highlighted the Supersil Premium C18 Column, based on self-developed microfluidic silica microsphere manufacturing technology. This produces monodisperse porous spherical silica packing with a particle size CV of less than 3%, eliminating the need for sieving. The production cycle is only one week, with 100% conversion efficiency and zero waste – a green and economical process.

Technical comparison data at the exhibition attracted a large number of visitors: under identical test conditions, the Supersil Premium C18 showed 36%–121% higher column efficiency for five compounds (uracil, acetophenone, toluene, ethylbenzene, and fluorene) compared to two imported columns of the same specifications. In particular, in the pharmaceutical analysis field, Supersil Premium C18 performed excellently in system suitability tests for multiple pharmacopoeia reference substances, including warfarin sodium, lansoprazole, capecitabine, and aripiprazolemeeting and exceeding pharmacopoeia standards in key parameters such as resolution, tailing factor, and theoretical plate number. Many visitors from pharmaceutical QC departments, after comparing the chromatographic data on site, gave high praise to the separation performance and peak symmetry of Supersil Premium C18.

Total Product Platform Advantage: A One-Stop Solution for the Pharmaceutical Industry

At this CPHI show, Elite clearly conveyed a strong message through the coordinated display of its three major product segments: Elite has built a complete liquid chromatography product platform covering the entire chain of“analysis separation/purification chromatography consumables.

On the analysis side, the EClassical 3200L UHPLC, paired with multiple detectors such as UV/Vis, DAD, RI, ELSD, and FL, meets the demands of drug R&D, impurity profiling, excipient testing, trace metabolite analysis, and more. On the preparation side, the EClassical 3500/3700 semi-preparative systems, S3320 all-in-one, F3310 fraction collector, Elite Purif RP2 integrated system, and full-range preparative columns cover the entire workflow from laboratory-scale trials, pilot scale-up, to industrial purification. On the consumables side, full-range columns including the Supersil Premium series, Supersil series, and SinoPak series provide a solid separation medium foundation for method development and process optimisation.

This comprehensive product platform means that pharmaceutical companies can source all equipment and consumables for method development, routine quality control, and scale-up purification within the Elite system, without the need to coordinate between multiple suppliers. This significantly improves efficiency and reduces the risk of system compatibility issues.

During the three-day CPHI exhibition, the Elite booth remained consistently busy. R&D personnel, QC professionals, academic researchers, and industry distributors from both domestic and international markets visited and engaged in discussions, showing great interest and positive feedback on Elite’s product portfolio in HPLC, preparative purification, and novel chromatography columns.

As a domestic scientific instrument company with over 30 years of deep experience in liquid chromatography, Elite Technology will continue to leverage its comprehensive product platform and continuous technological innovation to provide the global pharmaceutical industry with reliable solutions – from analysis to preparation, from laboratory to production contributing to the highquality development of the pharmaceutical sector.
