The PD3100 Post-column Derivation instrument features a double-reactor module with two independently controlled, high-precision temperature zones, enabling complex derivatization reactions requiring sequential reagent addition or elevated temperatures. All fluid-contact parts are made of biocompatible PEEK, offering excellent chemical resistance across a pH range of 0–14 and compatibility with common acids, alkalis, organic solvents, and surfactants. An integrated fluid cooler protects downstream detectors when reactions are performed above 100 °C. Modular design simplifies component replacement and maintenance. The unit employs an Omron E5CC intelligent temperature controller with over-temperature safety cut-off (automatic power-off at >160 °C), ensuring safe and reliable operation.
