Founded in the Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics (CAS), Elite embarked on its journey in the late 1970s under Academicians Lu Peizhang and Zhang Yukui. Officially founded in 1993, we have spent over 30 years transforming high-level research into industrial tools—starting with the development of China's first High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) system. Since then, we've continuously developed our technology and product lines aiming to meet the needs of every single laboratory.

Our History

1970s
In the late 1970s, under the leadership of the late academician Lu Peizhang, the Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences launched research on high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) instruments and columns. One of the relevant achievements, the HPLC instrument, was manufactured at the Instrument Factory of DICP. Another scientific and technological achievement, the chromatographic packing material, was transferred by the team led by Academician Zhang Yukui to two designated manufacturers for production: Qingdao Ocean Chemical Plant and Tianjin No.2 Reagent Factory, a national designated factory for chromatographic reagents. This laid the groundwork for the birth of China''s domestic HPLC instruments and columns, and sowed the seed for the subsequent establishment of Elite.
1993
In 1993, Dr. Li Tong, a student of Professor Zhang Yukui and now Chairman of Elite, began developing and commercializing chromatography products. That same year, Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics and US International Elite Enterprise Group co-founded Dalian Elite Scientific Instruments Co., Ltd., which later became a DICP wholly-owned company. With upgraded products and management, it grew into a modern high-tech enterprise, making Elite a leading brand in China’s liquid chromatography industry.
1995
The first generation of domestically commercialized P100 High Performance Liquid Chromatograph was launched, laying the foundation for China''s indigenous liquid chromatography industry.
2000
Elite entered a period of rapid development. Dalian Elite Analytical Instruments Co., Ltd. was officially established and obtained the ISO9001 Quality Management System certification.
2003
The brand-new P230 High Performance Liquid Chromatograph was launched, ushering in a new chapter of digitalization and informatization in the industry. Meanwhile, a variety of upgraded models have been introduced around the P230 platform.
2005
A new 4,200-square-meter production base was completed and an optical laboratory was established in the High-tech Industrial Zone of Dalian, Liaoning Province.
2008
The preparation for the Liaoning Provincial Engineering Technology Research Center was launched, and the "Liaoning Dalian Elite Analytical Instruments Engineering Technology Research Center" was officially established. The company was accredited as one of the first batch of National High-tech Enterprises.
2010
The "Elite" trademark was awarded the title of China Well-Known Trademark.
2011
Key High-tech Enterprise of the National Torch Program
2013
The iChrom 5100 model made its debut, achieving major breakthroughs in technology and craftsmanship and winning the Beijing Conference and Exhibition on Instrumental Analysis(BCEIA) Gold Award. In the same year, the cumulative sales volume of Elite chromatography columns exceeded 100,000 units. Elite instruments exceeded 10,000 units.
2016
The "Contract-Abiding and Credit-Reliable" Enterprise (2014–2015) issued by the State Administration for Industry and Commerce of the People''s Republic of China.
2018
Elite（Suzhou）Analytical Instruments Co., Ltd. was established.
2019

The EClassical 3200 High Performance Liquid Chromatograph was grandly launched, and has won high praise at home and abroad for its outstanding performance and stunning appearance.
2022
The High Performance Liquid Chromatograph (Technology) was awarded the title of 2022 Liaoning Provincial "Specialized, Sophisticated, Unique and Novel" Product (Technology) issued by the Liaoning Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology.
