D3230L/D3240L Diode Array Detector

The D3230L and D3240L Diode Array Detectors feature an advanced optical system incorporating ellipsoidal and toroidal mirrors combined with an imported flat-field imaging grating, delivering high light throughput, low stray light, and excellent wavelength accuracy. They utilize high-sensitivity CMOS linear image sensors with 512 or 1024 pixels, achieving spectral resolutions of 1.2 nm and 0.6 nm, respectively. Intelligent functionalities include automatic power-on self-test, leak alarm, and seamless integration with the Kromstation chromatography workstation, enabling unattended automated analysis. The detectors support real-time acquisition of both chromatograms and full UV-Vis spectra, providing 3D spectro-chromatographic data for peak purity calculation and spectral library searching. Multi-channel signal output, flexible sampling rate, and adjustable exposure time further enhance analytical versatility, while tool-free deuterium lamp replacement eliminates the need for optical realignment.

Performance

The D3230L and D3240L Diode Array Detectors are designed for ultra-high-performance liquid chromatography (UHPLC) systems, enabling simultaneous acquisition of full UV-Vis spectra (190800 nm) and multiple chromatographic signals in real time. They generate 3D spectro-chromatographic data, allowing post-run extraction of chromatograms at any wavelength, automated peak purity assessment, and compound identification through spectral library matching. With flexible sampling rates, adjustable exposure time, and TCP-based communication, the detectors support fully automated method control and data processing via the Kromstation workstation, making them ideal for pharmaceutical, biomedical, environmental, and research applications requiring high-sensitivity multi-wavelength detection and comprehensive spectral analysis.
